This handmade pinecone feather hat band puts a piece of the forest on your favorite hat. The feather design is cut from a real knobcone pinecone. The cone is sliced vertically to expose its long, flowing interior layers, which form a natural feather-like shape.
The pinecone was gathered near Mt. Shasta in Northern California, then selected, cleaned and prepared. It was cut, shaped, sanded and finished by hand in McCloud, California, and sealed with UV-hardened marine-grade epoxy for a glossy surface that brings out the cone's grain.
