These handmade polished pinecone earrings bring the knobcone's natural pattern up close. Each piece is carefully sanded and finished for a smooth appearance, then sealed so the grain of the cone shows through a glossy surface.
The real knobcone pinecone was gathered near Mt. Shasta in Northern California, then selected, cleaned and prepared. It was cut, shaped, sanded and finished by hand in McCloud, California, and sealed with UV-hardened marine-grade epoxy. The pattern is the cone's own. Nothing is printed onto the surface.
