The real knobcone pinecone was gathered near Mt. Shasta in Northern California, then selected, cleaned and prepared. It was cut, shaped and finished by hand in McCloud, California, and sealed with UV-hardened marine-grade epoxy for a glossy surface over the natural pinecone pattern.
